Registered Music Together®️ Teacher, Certification I, Certification II

Wendy's vision for Music Together with Music and  Me founded in 2003 as Mommy, Music & Me, inc., is to provide a nurturing place for families to participate and support their children's musical, creative, social and academic journey of learning, in developmentally appropriate and fantastic ways. We all share Music Together's mission to "Make the world a better place...by making it more musical". So many babies making music since 2003 have a deep love of music making and many have continued their love of music by participating in formal music education; school choirs, bands, and orchestras.

Wendy's journey to early childhood music education and exploration is a natural progression from all of her experience prior to motherhood. Every Mom wants the best for their child, and I want the best for your child as well.

After graduating S.U.N.Y. Binghamton with a B.A. in Theater Arts, with honors, she spent the next sixteen years performing professionally as an actress and singer internationally, nationally, in six New York Off-Broadway shows, in Cabarets, countless new musicals, commercials and voice-overs.  During her professional acting career she continued to study voice, acting and dance in New York. "Wendy Baila" DeAngelis is a member of AEA (Actor's Equity Association), SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild/ American Federation of Television and Radio Actors).

In addition to founding Mommy, Music, & Me, inc. and making Music Together with thousands of families throughout Queens, Wendy has been privileged to be a Music Educator in Queens and Long Island, NY at B'Above Head Start, Flushing Town Hall, The Samuel Field YM & YWHA, Countryside Montessori Day School, Not Just Art, Inc., and Beth Sholom Day Camp. Since teaching Music Together she has learned to play the guitar for her classes.

Awards: Music Together Certification Level II, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy and parent education. The certificate was granted by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ, Kenneth K. Guilmartin, Founder/Director.

Recordings: "Chasing Rainbows", written by Nadine Scharman. This multicultural storybook and CD, is about a young girl and her flute, who travels around the world (with her Aunt), to find her own inner voice.  You may hear Wendy's voice as storyteller and singer as she narrates the book and plays every character the young girl meets on her worldwide musical journey .

Wendy currently teaches our online morning Music Together classes, and continually delights in the musical growth and development of your children!
